Biography

Benedetta Ballati Mahoney, Adjunct Professor of Italian, earned her BA in Latin and Italian Literature in 2014 from the University of Siena. She then went on to receive her Masters Degree in Comparative Liguistics, with specialization in Teaching Italian to foreign students, from the University of Foreigners in Siena in 2017.

Her passion for teaching, her love for Italy, and the Italian language led her to teach to a variety of students in countries around the world, acquiring a great wealth of experience, and linguistic knowledge leading her to be multilingual. For Professor Ballati, teaching is a way of growing together with students, opening their minds to a journey where we can share knowledge and exchange cultural and linguistic values.
